carter at anna helwing

i'm back in los angeles for a short time. i saw a really cool show at the Anna Helwing gallery in culver city by an artist named Carter. i really liked the video the artist made of a prosthetic hand trying to paint a portrait. it was frustrating and compelling to watch. especially the attempts at putting the brushes away.
